AGENCY HISTORY

Global One Insurance Agency was founded six years ago by Edin Halkic who by that time had worked as an agent for another insurance agency, and decided to open his own company back in 2010. Mr. Halkic has 12 years of experience in this line of business. Mr. Halkic has led his Agency to the growth of $6,000 000 in premiums over the last 4 years with his work and commitment.

Even though we primarily focus on trucking insurance, we also do personal lines auto, homeowners’ insurance, business and commercial auto insurance. That way, we can gather all of the customer's needs in one place, and they can gather all of their policies in one place, making insurance needs and policy management much easier for the both of us. Since we are an insurance agency which does not work strictly with only one insurance company, we can offer our customers multiple carriers making it easier and more affordable for the client. The main focus for personal lines is within the state of Michigan, and when it comes to the commercial lines, we focus mostly on the Midwest area.

We take pride in our customer relations and policy service because we want to meet all of our customers' insurance needs and provide adequate coverage at an affordable price for the insured. Because the majority of our customer service representatives speak more than one foreign language, we can do our jobs more efficiently and effectively.

We here at Global One Insurance Agency have made customer satisfaction and mutual prosperity our main goal when it comes to trucking insurance. The trucking segment of the agency mainly focuses on bobtail for owner operators and cargo liability for non-fleet companies(1-9 units), but we are planning to go after fleets with a bit more marketing and with future commitment to marketing. When it comes to these policies the main markets for them are Michigan and Missouri, Iowa, Indiana . Most of the new business we have, comes from customer referrals so you can see that once we get a client we try to keep both him and his business with us. As far as the underwriting rules for new business clients we are actually very strict in that regard. No exception is allowed and we obey the rules very strictly.
In regards to the insurance companies we are working with, we ask a serious approach to every account and quote, a prompt service and quoting as well as mutual understanding and respect. We will try to get all the info you need and convey your message to the insured and present him with the best option possible but expect your full cooperation in regards to our mutual business.
As far as the marketing aspect of the agency most of the marketing is done through customer referrals, and mailing, and we have radio ads with several radio stations in the Mid West area. For the future we are planning to hire a marketing representative to be employed just on marketing related projects. Since we are fluent in Bosnian, Croatian, Serbian and English we will be ready to take that project on hand.
